QME Continuing Education

QME Continuing Education Requirements

Per the California Labor Code, a QME shall complete within the previous 24 months of his, her or their term of appointment 12 hours of continuing education (16 hours April 2026) in disability evaluation, or workers' compensation-related medical dispute evaluation, or other workers' compensation-related topics.

Case Law With Kite/ Vigil 2-hour CE

QME Summit: QME & Chiro Board Credits

Learn advanced impairment rating concepts the AA’s want you to know, such as Almarez/Guzman made simple, Kite/ Vigil made easy, understanding Benson, apportionment done right, advanced causation concepts, case review and analysis, deposition strategies, and maximizing your QME practice. 

Included are suggested language, handouts, report examples and more.

Triple Credit: 16-Hr DWC, 12-Hr TBCE-Hr 12 BOCA (Must attend in-person)

AMA Guides 5th Edition With a California Twist

This is the only course of its kind that teaches application of the 5th Guides while also reviewing the applicable case law. course will teach you the application of the Guides in addition to  learning appropriate testing to get accurate Impairment ratings.

California QME Continuing Education

Anti-Bias Training

This 2 credit hour course offers instruction on the awareness and understanding of implicit or unconscious bias, stereotyping, and discrimination. 

Course covers: Types of Bias, Examples of Bias, and Bias Self-test.
